Hal earned his BS in Accounting in 1991 from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, and has been involved in the financial services industry ever since. A background in tax, payroll, corporate accounting, business management, sales, and financial advising – Hal formed Burns Tax & Wealth Management in 2011.
With a client-first perspective, Hal enjoys working in an environment where he can help people and businesses pursue their goals.
A member of the National Society of Accountants, Hal has also served on the Board of Directors for the Riverside Tax Consultants Association since 2013. Additionally, Hal supports the Redlands Professional Firefighters Association, and the Fire & Burn Foundation, with both his time and resources.
Outside of the office, Hal enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, attending his local church, and participating in outdoor sports.
